Inspired by our home on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, we brew our golden hazy Pacific Ale with all Australian barley, wheat and Galaxy hops from Tasmania, which give the beer its big tropical fruit aromas and flavours and refreshment. This is what we’ve long called ‘Byron Bay in a bottle’. Also available in 375mL Pacific Ale Cans.

HOPS

We absolutely love Galaxy hops! Grown in Victoria and Tassie by Hop Products Australia, this proprietary variety was once an experimental hop until Brad (our Co-founder) came along and was keen to play around with it. Fast forward 10 years, the demand for this hop is high and we’re proud that we were the original using it and that our Pacific Ale is… the original. We dry hop with Galaxy at the late stages of fermentation creating this beer’s unique tropical fruit aroma

MALT

We use finest Australian pale malt, including rolled wheat and malted wheat, creating a high protein content resulting in a hazy appearance and full yet refreshing finish.

GROWERS

Every beer starts its journey on a farm. This one’s our first with GrainCorp Next - an initiative helping to support growers farm in ways that are better for the land. Aussie growers lead the world in adopting sustainable agriculture and we want to support them to go even further. So, we’ve teamed up with our supply chain partners, the ones who move the grain, malt it and sell the beer, to help fund on-farm initiatives. It’s early days, and we’ll let you know how it goes.

Pacific Ale goes beautifully with fresh seafood – prawns, lobster, oysters and fresh fish.

You make a nice beer but seriously, more than $80 for a carton is ridiculous. I can buy any imported beer from Europe or Asia for a lot less. Shame that you think you can rip people off like that

I ordered the ctn of beer & cap nearly 2 weeks ago.
It’s saying package has left the brewery but it’s delayed. That was Xmas drinks & cap was a present never order on line again . No answer why it is delayed or were it is spewing !!!

Love it !!

Visited Byron Bay in 2016 for Splendour in the grass . Went to the Brewery and tasted Pacific ale . Wow , it was so refreshing. Love the fact that it has no preservatives . I’m from WA and I have been drinking Stone and Wood Pacific Ale ever since . I got it into out local pub, bowling club, golf club and pestered a hotel resort on the south coast of WA to get it on tap and succeeded. I’m a content man .😁
